Quick thought that may really change some peoples’ days, and even lives: When your mind is giving you trouble, don’t resist. Don’t fight it. Instead, just let go, and accept. Then, turn your consciousness away from it, towards something you DO desire.

This is how the book “Brain over Binge” tells you to stop binge eating urges. The author says to just let the thoughts be, without fighting or reasoning with them.
